ShareNation is primarily a hotel takeover party.  They typically host their takeovers in Parsippany, NJ and Providence, RI.  Their website is  Their website has their own membership system where members can communicate similar to lifestyle websites such as SLS and SDC

Upon visiting the site you can create an account which needs to then be approved.  A membership can then be purchased.  They have three month, six month, and one year memberships ranging in price from $29.95 to $49.95.  ShareNation only offers couple and single female membership options.  There is an additional fee per event.  There is a $5.95 processing fee for each online transaction.  The takeovers are typically two night events.

They offer discounted hotel pricing which requires booking via phone.  The group discount code does not work when booking through the website.  If you are going to attend one of these takeovers we highly recommend booking a room.  It makes it significantly easier to facilitate playing with another couple when you only have to take a short walk to a hotel room rather than try to work out the logistics of leaving the hotel and traveling elsewhere.

We attended their Mardi Trois party which took place in Parsippany, NJ on Friday, February 16, 2018 and Saturday, February 17, 2018.  This was our first party with ShareNation.  We decided to attend both Friday and Saturday night.  The Friday night party was described as a PJ party.  ShareNation blocked off an entire floor and upon coming up in the elevator a security guard greeted arriving guests who then were directed to a check-in table.  There are still vanilla hotel guests in the hotel on Friday night.  There were a good amount of couples that Friday night, around 30-50.  ShareNation had some common suites.  They had a social room and then two play rooms.  A DJ was setup in one and another room where there were cups, mixers, and food.  Some of the guests kept their rooms open where people could joint them.  Saturday night the hotel becomes strictly lifestyle.

During the afternoon ShareNation scheduled social activities that acted as ice beakers for guests.  Each activity was scheduled for an hour back to back in the ballroom.  They had pole dancing classes for women, speed dating for couples, an introduction to the lifestyle session, as well as a separate area setup for those that wanted to have photos taken.  At either 8 p.m. or 9 p.m. the ballroom was open where they have a cash bar, a DJ, and a dance floor setup.  You are not allowed to bring your own alcohol into the ballroom.  There were couples that did pre-parties in their rooms and suites prior to the ballroom opening.  Typically couples would connect in the ballroom and then work their way back to their rooms to play.  There was also an after party on the main party floor which is the same floor that was taken over for Friday night.

Overall there were a significant amount of couples that attended.  We do not know how many exactly, but it must have been at least two hundred.  We found attending Friday night as well as attending the scheduled afternoon events very beneficial in meeting couples and making connections rather than just relying on meeting couples for the first time when the ballroom opens.  We have a blast attending and will be attending their events in the future.  Feel free to ask any specific questions about our experience in the comments below.
